RDN-180 is an AESA (active electronically scanned array) radar operating in S band, it provides multi-beam 3-Dimensional air coverage (range, azimuth, height), and is especially optimized for low level air surveillance, which allows the radar to detect low radar cross-section, low-flying and slow-moving air targets while simultaneously scanning for other air targets in severe hostile environment.
